KangXi created (together with his son YongZheng and grandson QianLong) the longest “shengshi” (盛世) or “flourishing age“ (times of peace and prosperity) in the whole history of feudalism China ! Its last about 100 years.
KangXi is Manchurian, minority ethnic called “Manzhu”(滿族), originated from north east of China. Manchurian are generally considered less civilived compare to majority Han(漢) due to normative culture and lower humanistic quality.
However, even as minority, KangXi able to manage to win the Han supports over his administration, he respect and follow the teaching of Confucius. Confucianism formed a fundamental of KangXi’s administration especially the use of “ren“(仁）or benevolence.
